Having grown up in the entertainment business, Joshua Milrad hasworked on numerous productions ranging from feature films,documentary films, commercials, music videos, reality TV and majornetwork television series in various capacities from PA to Producer/Director. Cast as the young lead in the original Beastmaster featurefilm, Josh was inspired to learn the craft of filmmaking.He quickly moved up from Production Assistant to AssistantCoordinator, Production Coordinator, Assistant Director, UPM,Associate Producer, and Producer. Josh has worked in variouscapacities on many productions such as: The 2010 Winter Olympics,Moonlight (CBS), The US Open Of Surfing (MTV), The World Seriesof Poker (ESPN), The Beast, American Express, Pepsi (w/Shaq),Ford, Engines of Aggression, as well as PSAs for child abuse andliteracy for MTV.His Producing and Directing work has been featured onEntertainment Tonight, Hard Copy, E! True Hollywood Stories, TheHistory Channel, The New Yorker Magazine and Playboy Magazine.For his film work, he has been the recipient of multiple film awardsfrom festivals including Dances With Films Festival, Had To Be MadeFilm Festival, Tahoe International Film Festival, Indievision FilmFestival NY and The Academy of Science Fiction and Horror GoldenScroll Award.Josh currently lives in Los Angeles field producing and editing fortelevision projects ranging from live music, sports, corporate media,and non-scripted entertainment of all kinds for television and aroundthe web.Currently, Josh is writing and editing on World’s Funniest Animals forthe CW Network in addition to Masters of Illusion (also CW) andvarious short documentary projects for Girl Rising, a non-profitorganization in NYC helping young women get access to qualityeducation worldwide.Throughout the years, Josh has worked with filmmakers ranging fromJoel Silver to Franco Zeffirelli at nearly all the major movie studios onprojects ranging from commercials to television to feature films.
