JOSHUA MILRAD

Having grown up in the entertainment business, Joshua Milrad has
worked on numerous productions ranging from feature films,
documentary films, commercials, music videos, reality TV and major
network television series in various capacities from PA to Producer/
Director. Cast as the young lead in the original Beastmaster feature
film, Josh was inspired to learn the craft of filmmaking.
He quickly moved up from Production Assistant to Assistant
Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Assistant Director, UPM,
Associate Producer, and Producer. Josh has worked in various
capacities on many productions such as: The 2010 Winter Olympics,
Moonlight (CBS), The US Open Of Surfing (MTV), The World Series
of Poker (ESPN), The Beast, American Express, Pepsi (w/Shaq),
Ford, Engines of Aggression, as well as PSAs for child abuse and
literacy for MTV.
His Producing and Directing work has been featured on
Entertainment Tonight, Hard Copy, E! True Hollywood Stories, The
History Channel, The New Yorker Magazine and Playboy Magazine.
For his film work, he has been the recipient of multiple film awards
from festivals including Dances With Films Festival, Had To Be Made
Film Festival, Tahoe International Film Festival, Indievision Film
Festival NY and The Academy of Science Fiction and Horror Golden
Scroll Award.
Josh currently lives in Los Angeles field producing and editing for
television projects ranging from live music, sports, corporate media,
and non-scripted entertainment of all kinds for television and around
the web.
Currently, Josh is writing and editing on World’s Funniest Animals for
the CW Network in addition to Masters of Illusion (also CW) and
various short documentary projects for Girl Rising, a non-profit
organization in NYC helping young women get access to quality
education worldwide.
Throughout the years, Josh has worked with filmmakers ranging from
Joel Silver to Franco Zeffirelli at nearly all the major movie studios on
projects ranging from commercials to television to feature films.
