Roy Wooley is a special effects makeup artist with more than 20 years of experience. He grew up in Alabama where his father was a coal miner and a preacher who hoped his son would choose a similarly stable profession. But after Roy snuck in to see “An American Werewolf in London,” he fell in love with special effects makeup and the creation of characters. Roy’s mother has always been one of his biggest supporters; she put up with monsters lurking around her house for many years. Since there weren’t any FX schools for Roy to attend, he relied on tutorial videos, books and his innate artistic talent to develop his craft. When Roy moved to Georgia in 1998, he took a job at Netherworld Haunted House where he established and now runs the makeup department. He works year-round on feature films while doing creature fabrication for Netherworld, which has become one of the country’s leading haunted attractions. In August 2012, he began competing on SyFy’s special effects competition show “Face Off.” His creations quickly became fan favorites, and he even earned a permanent spot in the Star Wars universe when he co-created a creature for the Mos Eisley cantina during his first spotlight challenge.
Russell was born in Homestead Florida to a military family, the third of four sons to Buck and Juanita. Offered a theatre arts scholarship in high school to attend Transylvania University in Kentucky, he opted to join the US Army after becoming a father his senior year. Peacetime provided a unique opportunity as he soon discovered the esteemed Fort Bragg Playhouse where he began performing regularly. After his stint in the military he moved to New York City, spending two liberating years working odd jobs and doing regional theatre before joining the crew of the US Coast Guard cutter Sassafras in Honolulu, Hawaii. After meeting his wife Shelley in Long Beach California, where they performed and directed together for several years, the couple moved to ‘The Big Easy’, New Orleans Louisiana, where their artistic lives flourished over the next 11 years. They eventually headed back west to be closer to family, settling in Seattle Washington. In addition to top notch professional theatre, Russell took advantage of Seattle’s thriving Independent film scene, appearing in a slew of Indies and making guest TV appearances on Leverage and Grimm before being cast to play the “lovable stoner” Doc on the SyFy original series Z Nation in 2014.

Stephen Geoffreys made a strong and distinct impression with his winning blend of wild energy and manic intensity that he brought to a handful of hugely enjoyable comedies and horror films made throughout the 1980s. He was born Stephen Geoffrey Miller on November 22, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Geoffreys first began acting at a performing arts high school in Cincinnati and attended acting classes at New York University. Geoffreys gave an excellent and inspired performance as obnoxious horror movie geek “Evil” Ed Thompson in the terrific Fright Night (1985). Stephen displayed a real flair for comedy with his amusing turns as the antsy Williams in Heaven Help Us (1985) and the nerdy Wendell in Fraternity Vacation (1985). Other memorable roles include persecuted wimp Hoax in 976-EVIL (1988), hardened inmate Roach in the dreary haunted prison dud The Chair (1988), and slimy drug dealer Cookie in Moon 44 (1990). Geoffreys did guest appearances on the TV anthology shows Amazing Stories (1985) and The Twilight Zone (1985). Stephen has also had a very respectable stage career: he’s acted in the Off-Broadway productions “The Human Comedy” (Geoffreys was nominated for a Broadway Tony Award for Best Actor for the subsequent Broadway production of this play), “Maggie/Magalita,” and “Songs on the Shipwrecked Sofa.” In a startling and unexpected career move, Geoffreys wound up acting in numerous gay hardcore porno pictures under the pseudonyms Sam Ritter and Stephan Bordeaux. Outside of acting, Geoffreys writes short stories and is an avid bodybuilder. After a regrettably lengthy absence from the big screen, Stephen Geoffreys made a welcome comeback with a co-starring role in the indie fright feature Sick Girl (2007).
