Tab Murphy was raised in Olympia, Washington. He attended Washington State University, where he studied forestry and wildlife biology before having an existential crisis and transferring to the USC Film School, where he studied directing and screenwriting. His major breakthrough as a screenwriter came with a writing credit on Gorillas in the Mist (1988), the story of Dian Fossey’s crusade to protect the endangered mountain gorillas of Rwanda. Tab received an Academy Award nomination for his effort, which he admits he didn’t fully appreciate at the time, choosing to eschew the awards ceremony in favor of yellowtail fishing in Baja. Tab went on to spend nearly ten years in the Disney machine, writing such feature length animated movies as The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Tarzan (1999), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Brother Bear (2003), which was nominated for an Academy Award Best Animated Feature. During that time Tab also wrote and directed Last of the Dogmen (1995), a western fantasy starring Tom Berenger and Barbara Hershey. Tab has written several Warner Bros DC animated screenplays, including Green Arrow (2010), Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) and Batman: Year One (2011), based on the Frank Miller graphic novel. In 2010 he wrote a thriller, Dark Country (2009), that was directed by Thomas Jane (Hung (2009), The Punisher (2004)), who also starred. The movie was shot in 3-D for a division of Sony. Tab has worked extensively in television animation, writing episodes of Thundercats, Scooby Do and Teen Titans Go! Tab divides his time between Los Angeles and the Canadian Rockies.

Moving to Austin, Texas, in 1971, the young actress attended the University of Texas and St. Edwards University. It was in Austin, where she was discovered by director Tobe Hooper and producer Kim Henkel, after seeing an article about her in the local newspaper. After auditioning, Teri was chosen for the part by Hooper and Henkel, and offered her the role of “Pam” in their film project, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). It was a hot, grueling shoot, fraught with all the wrinkles low budget films incur, twice shutting down filming entirely. Simultaneously, Teri worked in local theater. Strong-featured Australian actor Vernon Wells was born December 1945 in Rushworth, rural Victoria, to Eva Maude (Jackson) and Michael Wells. He initially worked in a quarry, and then as a salesman. He was noticed by casting agents and started to appear in Australian TV commercials, print ads, local Australian TV shows such as “Homicide” and “Matlock Police”. His first cinema appearance was a minor role in Felicity (1978), a low budget, erotic fantasy film. However, Wells was then fortunate to be cast as the homicidal biker “Wez”, in the big budget The Road Warrior (1981) filmed around Silverton near Broken Hill in outback New South Wales, Australia. It’s the role for which he is probably best known to international audiences, as Wells portrays a psychotic, post apocalyptic gang leader who relentlessly pursues hero Mel Gibson, before meeting a spectacular death at the film’s finale. Hollywood beckoned for Wells, and he spoofed his mad biker role in the popular teen comedy Weird Science (1985), before taking on another villainous role as the treacherous ex-soldier “Bennett”, who foolishly double crosses Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando (1985). Once more, Wells meets a dramatic end, as he is impaled against a boiler at the film’s conclusion, as big Arnold remarks “Let off some steam, Bennett”. Wells continued to find regular work as a “villain” of one description or another, predominantly in B-grade thrillers or action films including Last Man Standing (1987), Circuitry Man (1990), Kick of Death (1997) and Starforce (2000). Vincent continued to work on TV Movies and MOW’s until he landed the role of Desk Sgt. Agostini for the first four seasons of NYPD Blue; he won a SAG award as part of that cast for Best Ensemble. Vincent’s work in the theater took him back to Chicago, to Center Stage in Baltimore, and to the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge where he work shopped a new Mamet play that eventually brought him to Broadway where he co-starred in an eight month run with Patti Lupone in David Mamet’s autobiographical drama The Old Neighborhood. On Broadway Vinny’s work was noticed by Barry Levinson and Woody Allen, both of whom he did movies for. Italian director Ciro Moriello took him to Italy for seven weeks to play the role of Genaro the Chef on a fact based drama called The Sons of Italy.
