KEN SAGOES

Ken Sagoes, born in Stockbridge, Georgia and raised in Atlanta, is an award winning writer and actor who has over 100 film, TV, and stage credits. He attended Kennesaw State University and studied writing and directing under the UCLA Extension program. Sagoes also studied under two entertainment legends, Edmund J. Cambridge and Marlon Brando. He’s a former staff writer with Paramount Television, won a CableAce Award and was a HUMANITAS Prize Finalist for writing and co-starring in Disney Channel’s “On Promised Land”. Sagoes has written fourteen plays and over thirty-five screenplays. As a stage actor, he has received several awards, including a NAACP Theater nomination for Ted Lange’s critically acclaimed play, “George Washington’s Boy”. In film, he is best known for the role of “Kincaid”, one of the Dream Warriors in the classic horror films, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, 3 & 4, making him the first African-American actor to survive a major horror film and return for a sequel. He’s also known for John Singleton’s “ROSEWOOD” as the loveable “Big Baby” and the role of “Darryl” with Martin Lawrence in the hit series, “What’s Happening Now”. In 1997, Sagoes founded GBC-Giving Back Corporation, a 501 (c) 3 organization that helps send inner city youth to summer camp and helps pay for books and supplies for college bound students. GBC also gives an Annual Toast/Roast to honor entertainment pioneers who have paved the way.

LAR PARK LINCOLN

Lar’s five-year, two character role on “Knots Landing” (1990) offered her the opportunity to work with such luminaries as: Michele Lee, William Devane, Kathleen Quinlan, Mario Van Peebles, Michael Landon, and Angela Lansbury. She has been a featured guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show (1986) and Entertainment Tonight (1981), plus numerous local and syndicated talk and radio shows. Lar produced & directed a serious short about racial discrimination, “Black and White.” Lar has survived breast cancer, stalkers, and was widowed with young children. Her daughter, Piper Lincoln, also an actor, lives in France and her son, Trevor is a college campus minister. Lar took an LA break, and returned to Texas after losing her husband and parents to raise her children. She has written one book, Get Started, Not Scammed, and is completing her auto biography, Lucky Girl. While appearing graceful & sexy on camera, she often jokes that “In real life, I’m a walking Lucy Ball !” Her most recent projects have been the Sci-fiction film “Expulsion” and several independent film projects. Lar enjoys traveling and appearing at fan conventions, coaching actors and collecting poodles!

LAURA ORTIZ

Laura Catalina Ortiz was born in Bogota, Colombia. She finished high school early, took up acting and headed to Los Angeles where she now resides. In 2006, she booked a lead role off her very first movie audition for Wes Craven‘s The Hills Have Eyes (2006). Her performance was nominated for a Chainsaw Award. She followed that with a lead role in Chillerama (2011) and other big screen roles in Norbit (2007), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and voicing a character for Horton Hears a Who! (2008) (working with Jim Carrey and Steve Carell). In television, Laura was recently a series regular for two seasons on FearNet Channel’s Holliston (2012), a horror sitcom created by Adam Green. She has guest starred on ABC’s Happy Endings (2011), Fox’s In Justice (2006), Showtime’s Sleeper Cell (2005), Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh (2004), and the Comedy Central pilot, Nightrider. In 2012, she guest starred in the ABC sitcom pilot, Happy Valley (2012) and in 2013, she played Rupert Grint‘s love interest in the CBS pilot Super Clyde (2013) (from Gregory Thomas Garcia, creator of Raising Hope (2010) and My Name Is Earl (2005)). Laura is also a series regular voice on the Disney Channel animation, Fish Hooks (2010) and has voiced multiple characters for Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken (2001). She also stars in the popular web series, The Real Housewives of Horror (2013). She presented at The Annie Awards with Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob).

LEW TEMPLE

Lew Temple was born October 2, 1967 and is an American film actor, perhaps best known for his roles as Axel on “The Walking Dead,” the character of Ned Oldham in the action adventure thriller, “Unstoppable” which also starred Denzel Washington, Chris Pine and Rosario Dawson; directed by Tony Scott, and Cal the diner manager in the comedy-drama “Waitress.” Born and raised in the Bayou Country of Louisiana, Temple is an extraordinarily diverse actor who often is compared to a chameleon: he has the unique ability to take any character and make it his own. Other film credits include the ranger, Hollis in the summer, 2013 Disney blockbuster “The Lone Ranger,” alongside Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer; Locus Fender in the action film “Domino,” starring Kiera Knightley and Mickey Rourke, directed by Tony Scott and Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects” with Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, William Forsythe, and Sherri Moon Zombie Temple began his acting career on the stage of the prestigious Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, working alongside artists such as Vanessa Redgrave in “Julius Caesar” and “Anthony & Cleopatra”, as well as acclaimed writer/directors Michael Wilson, Terrance McNally and Edward Albee. He next landed numerous television roles, as well as roles in independent and mainstream studio films, such as “On the Borderline,” “The Newton Boys,” and “Angels in the Outfield.” Prior to acting, Temple had a Minor League Baseball career with the Seattle Mariners” and “Houston Astros.” He worked his way through the Astros system to become Assistant Director of Minor Leagues and Scouting.

LYNN LOWRY

Lynn Lowry was born in 1947 in Illinois, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She began acting professionally at age 17 in a theater called Shawnee Summer Stock Theater. She relocated to New York City in the late 1960s to pursue other acting jobs to support her young son. Her first movie role was a small part in The Battle of Love’s Return (1971) which starred and was directed by Lloyd Kaufman, who later founded the “Troma” independent film company. Her next role was another small, uncredited part in I Drink Your Blood (1971). Her next movie, playing a dual role in Sugar Cookies (1973), which required her to act in the nude for the first time, got her sex appeal. Score (1973) came next which was a X-rated, soft-core, semi-documentary flick which brought on more sex appeal for Lowry’s character. Her next role was one of her best in playing “Kathy,” a neurotic character in George A. Romero‘s The Crazies (1973), an action-horror flick filmed in rural Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. She then was cast for a recurring part in the TV series How to Survive a Marriage (1974). She was also cast for a part in David Cronenberg‘s horror flick Shivers (1975). After another minor part in Fighting Mad (1976) and a few other movies, Lowry moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s where, after a slow start, she began acting in the local theater, and occasional movie roles. Most recently, she has been performing on stage as a singer in singing old folk songs and show tunes with her own band. Lowry starred in the psychological body horror film Fang (2022) as Gina Cochran, one of her favorite characters so far.

MALCOLM DANARE

MALCOLM’S film debut was in Paramount Pictures, “THE LORDS OF DISCIPLINE”, where he played the dramatic role of Poteete. Danare’s next film for Paramount was the Iconic, “FLASHDANCE”. MALCOLM went on to star and co-star in a diverse collection of films, such as Mel Brooks’ “ROBINHOOD MEN IN TIGHTS”, Walter Hill’s “CROSSROADS”, Amy Heckerling’s “EUROPEAN VACATION”, Michael Dinner’s, “HEAVEN HELP US” (aka “CATHOLIC BOYS”) Bob Clark and Mark Herrier’s “POPCORN” and John Carpenter’s horror classic “CHRISTINE”. Malcolm also co-starred in Columbia Picture’s “GODZILLA” and its animated series follow-up. 2004 to 2006, Malcolm recurred in the hit CBS series CSI MIAMI, playing the villain, Ned Ostroff. 2014-Present Malcolm co-starred in “AMERICAN JUSTICE”, a crime drama, “SMOTHERED” a horror farce, and “THE MARTINI SHOT” a wacky comedy. Danare recently co-produced two films set to be released in 2016. “THE SUMMERLAND PROJECT.” A science fiction set in the future. Starring Ed Begley Jr., Kate Vernon and Eddie Jemison, and “THE TAKER,” a contemporary horror film. As a voice over actor, Malcolm currently plays the character of Kipling, in the hit cartoon series, “MONSTER HIGH”, he is also the voice of Tiny, in the cartoon, “EVER AFTER HIGH” for Nickelodeon.
